Surrendering to the Moment

Well-being
Surrendering to the Moment

Completely surrendering to this moment has a quiet power. It shifts us from being endlessly occupied with the situation to becoming naturally oriented toward solutions. The moment resistance enters—resistance to what is—we step into a loop of suffering.

But the moment I accept it completely, something changes. When I surrender not just to the act, but also to the consequence of the act, the mind becomes free. Free not in the sense of escaping responsibility, but free from inner resistance.

Now, in this space of non-resistance and deep acceptance, the mind is free, there is more clarity and I can respond to this moment from this space. I can choose the most accurate response available to me right now.

Every scene in this great play of life that appears challenging carries a hidden learning. But that learning does not reveal itself to a resisting mind. It only opens itself to those who are willing to surrender to what is exactly as it is.

When we surrender, the learning is revealed. And with it, a quiet transformation takes place.
