Be in Satsang of the truth. Sat means truth and sang means company. Satsang means to be in the company of the truth. In spirituality, the term truth refers to - anything that is eternal and its presence is independent of anything or anyone, which cannot be created or destroyed. That alone is truth. All that we see around us including bodies is creation, not the creator. All thoughts and emotions that arise and pass away are also temporary phenomenons, also a creation.
Strive to be aware of the creator, the energy that makes all creation possible in the first place. Strive to be aware of who you are. Your divine self is the truth. Dwelling in things that are not ‘the truth’ will pull you towards falsehood. Dwell in truth. Ruminate in truth. Swim in the ocean of truth.
Being in company is not just physical, what occupies our mind is what we are accompanied with. So dwell in your true self. Maintain awareness and whenever needed, create thoughts of the highest quality, which are aligned to our true nature. Create a beautiful bouquet of thoughts in your mind accompanied by spaces of silence. Create thoughts from the space of intention and purpose when needed otherwise be in a state of rest. As we do this, we move closer and closer to the truth. We allow the flower of truth to bloom within us.
This requires practice for sure. Let’s just start with a small step - let’s be in Satsang for this moment.
