New Year, New Way Of Thinking…
One of the most self-sabotaging tendencies we carry is the unconscious habit of being unkind—towards ourselves and towards others. We limit ourselves through our thoughts and words, and often impose those same limits on those around us.
So this year, let us hold a determined thought: to not impose limits on ourselves or on others.
We often create limiting narratives—about ourselves and about people—through subtle judgments: “He is like that only, he will never change,” or “There is no way you can achieve this,” or “I want to do this, but I don’t think I have what it takes.”
All such thoughts are unkind. In a way, we are cursing ourselves or other beings.
Why not bless instead?
Let us choose higher-vibrational words and thoughts—for ourselves and for others. Words and thoughts have power. Each word is a spell we cast. That is why it is called spelling.
We must become deeply selective about the thoughts we entertain and the words we use. When we observe a recurring pattern of unkindness, we simply notice it—and switch it. This alertness, this conscious switching, gradually tunes the mind. Kindness then becomes natural, effortless.
May we only think what serves us and live with no limits.
As the year begins, I wish you and your family a beautiful New Year—filled with health, wealth, prosperity, and kindness.
